She had 12 1/2" of hair cut off which we sent to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Program. We learned that the wigs they make are donated free to women in need.
She ended up with this cute, sassy cut that is so much easier to comb and keep neat. I do miss her long hair, but it went to a good cause.

That is wonderful! What a great birthday gift! I grew my hair out while my husband was in Afghanistan and donated it to Locks of Love when he returned. It was about 18 inches that I donated.
